ALTOONA, Pa. â For the fourth consecutive spring, the District 6 Class 2A boys tennis doubles championship match will showcase two Westmont Hilltop pairs.
Top-seeded John Allen and Brett Hoffman swept through their quarterfinal and semifinal matches Monday to reach the final.
The Hilltoppers’ doubles pairing of Conner Selders and Ethan Downey also won in the quarterfinals and semifinals to reach the title match against their teammates.
The fourth straight finals appearance by the schoolâs two doubles pairs set a District 6 record, Hilltoppers Athletic Director Tom Callihan said.
The championship match will be played at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at North Fork Golf & Tennis Club.
