Serena Williams’ comeback is officially on.

On Tuesday, June 9, almost four years after she stepped away from professional tennis in 2022, Williams is playing the HSBC Championships in London with doubles partner Victoria Mboko.

Williams and Mboko’s opening round match is against American Nicole Melichar-Martinez and New Zealand native Erin Routliffe. While it is scheduled for Tuesday, the exact match time hasn’t been announced yet and will be revealed after play concludes on Monday.

Williams and Mboko entered the tournament on a wild card and are unseeded. Melichar-Martinez and Routliffe are seeded third in the doubles draw.

How to watch or steam Serena Williams’ comeback match

The HSBC Championships, including Williams/Mboko in the opening round, are being broadcast on Tennis Channel. You can stream matches online if you have a subscription to the Tennis Channel app or have access to Tennis Channel as part of your TV provider plan, like DirecTV or Fubo.

The tournament runs June 8-14. After two days of doubles opening rounds, the doubles quarterfinals will be played June 11, followed by semifinals June 12. The doubles final is scheduled for Saturday, June 14.
