Wednesday Open Thread

I have a busy morning ahead, and busy afternoon too. So let’s have an Open Thread.

I’m going to the doctor to talk about the torn ligaments in my foot. Apparently the choice is going be be either a walking boot or surgery. Since I know nothing, I’ll defer to what ever he suggests.

He’s also going to tell me I have to take a break from tennis. I’m going to negotiate on that one. Where I play, they are closing the courts to do some maintenance for most of July and some of August. I’m going to ask if I can play until the courts close and then be a good boy. If he says no, I’m going to play until they close the courts and then be a good boy.

I haven’t had any pain, other than the day it happen and I’ve been able to play pretty much like normal.I’ve been lucky, I’ve never damaged myself before. I’d like to be a good patient but I also want to play.

At least, if I have to sit, I’ll maybe pick up my poor neglected guitars again.
