US Open mixed doubles schedule, how to watch Serena Williams

A cool $1 million will be on the line as the US Open mixed doubles tournament gets underway on Tuesday, Aug. 25.

First round headliners include Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams and Carlos Alcaraz playing at Arthur Ashe Stadium, and defending two-time US Open mixed doubles champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori and Jessica Pegula and Taylor Fritz playing at Louis Armstrong Stadium.

Each match will be best of three sets, and to win a set, a team needs to win four games. Ties at four games apiece will result in a tiebreaker. Also different is when there is a deuce score in a game. There won’t be an advantage score, so the next point after deuce wins the game; second-set ties result in a 10-point tiebreak.

The final will be a best-of-three-set match with sets to six games (tie-break at six-all), with no-advantage scoring and a 10-point tie-break in lieu of a third set.

• Serena Williams and Carlos Alcaraz vs. Erin Routliffe and Lloyd Glasspool, not before 2 p.m. ET

Quarterfinals: Arthur Ashe Stadium
