Naomi Osaka is known as a four-time Grand Slam tennis champion and also a fashionista.
In recent years, her collaborations with Nike and designers have wowed fans, and now sheâs bringing âCourt-ureâ to Roland Garros for the 2026 French Open. .
Osaka was asked about her outfit design in French Open press conferences. She divulged nothing except to say that as a quiet person, she lets her clothing designs, colors, and patterns talk for her.

Looks befitting of a fashion runway
Osaka looks like she is ready for the Met Gala which she attended earlier this month.
The shimmery black and gold ensemble, which was custom designed by Kevin Germanier, looks beautiful but has one noteworthy problem.
It looks heavy and hot which is a big deal this year at the French Open where the daytime temperatures are climbing to 90 degrees, over 20 degrees above normal.
âRoland Garrosâ best dressed just raised the bar again,â Outlander Magazine wrote. âNaomiâs custom Nike looks were designed by Kevin Germanier, the couture designer turning upcycled materials into something iconic.
âClay court season needed a moment like this, so we took her to an authentic orange clay court in paris to match the energy sheâll be surrounded by this week.â

Osaka is confidently charting her own path

The gathering paid homage to trailblazers from their respective generations, like Arthur Ashe, Zina Garrison, Venus Williams, and Serena Williams, who changed the game with their heritage.

Many remember that âClayomiâ nearly knocked Iga Swiatek out of the 2024 French Open. She is a Grand Slam champion of the hardcourts of the Australian Open and US Open. However, her clay court game has improved and evolved.
Fans hope to see her make a deep run at Roland Garros especially since she is bring extra sparkle this year.
She faces a tricky first round opponent in German Laura Siegemund, a 2020 French Open quarterfinalist, who is known for her doubles play and her ability to pull off high profile singles upsets including against Madison Keys at last yearâs Wimbledon Championships.
