Live updates: Coco Gauff eyes first Wimbledon final against Karolina Muchova

Coco Gauff has already gone deeper into the Wimbledon draw than she’s ever been. The question now is whether she can go all the way.

The first step is Thursday’s semifinal against 10th-seeded Karolina Muchova of Czechia.

Gauff, at No. 7 the highest seed remaining in the women’s bracket, is coming off her fourth consecutive three-set match at the All England Club − a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory over fourth-seeded Jessica Pegula on Tuesday, July 7.

Muchova defeated 14th-seeded Naomi Osaka in straight sets in her quarterfinal match.

Gauff, 22, is the only major champion remaining in the field. Whoever ultimiately wins will become the 10th different Wimbledon women’s singles champion in the last 10 years.
