Every result from Katie Boulter’s 2026 season as her WTA Tour campaign comes to an end

Claire Liu has ended Katie Boulter’s 2026 WTA Tour campaign.

Katie Boulter advanced to the Hong Kong Open second round on Monday after beating Viktorija Golubic in straight sets.

Liu, the American world number 102, secured two vital breaks of serve at the end of each set as she triumphed 7-5, 6-4 over Boulter in their second-round match.

With defeat, Boulter has completed her last WTA Tour contest of 2026.

Let’s take a look back at how the British star has performed throughout 2026.

Katie Boulter’s 2026 results in full

Boulter began her 2026 campaign at the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand, where she lost in the second round to top-10 star Elina Svitolina.

The Briton then lost to Belinda Bencic in the Australian Open first round.

Boulter then travelled all the way to Czechia, where she enjoyed her best result of the year.

The 30-year-old defeated Katy Volynets and Tamara Korpatsch en route to winning the Ostrava Open – her fourth WTA title overall.

Boulter’s excellent form continued in Mexico: she defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia and Camila Osorio before losing to Italian star Jasmine Paolini.

The American swing then arrived, with Boulter competing at WTA 1000 events in Indian Wells and Miami. She first struggled in California – failing to advance through qualifying – before reaching the third round in Florida.

The Tour then shifted to clay courts.

Boulter secured a mixed set of results on the surface, enjoying an impressive run to the Rouen Open quarter-finals while also suffering multiple early exits.

Boulter began the grass-court season with a bang, defeating Leylah Fernandez and then-world number two Elena Rybakina en route to the Queen’s Club Championships semi-finals.

A period of poor results followed, with Boulter losing four consecutive matches between June 21 and August 3.

Boulter returned to winning ways in Cincinnati, beating Katy Volynets once again. She was then defeated by Wimbledon champion Linda Noskova.

Second-round appearances at the US Open and China Open followed, before a first-round exit in Wuhan.

Boulter concluded her campaign well, reaching the Japan Open semi-finals and Hong Kong Open second round.
