Alcaraz has been following Spain’s journey at the World Cup from afar but has landed in New York to cheer for La Roja in the final against Lionel Messi and Argentina. The Spaniard posed for pictures with rapper Travis Scott in New York on Sunday ahead of the showpiece event. Photos of the link-up were shared by fans on social media.

Alcaraz was seen wearing the Rolex Rainbow Daytona ahead of the match. The watch is regarded as one of the world’s most sought-after timepieces. Featuring a bezel set with rainbow-colored sapphires, this watch costs around $500,000. The watch was produced in limited quantities in everose gold, yellow gold, and white gold.

As one of the world’s foremost tennis stars, Alcaraz is a Rolex brand ambassador and has often been seen sporting some of the finest timepieces ever produced.

Alcaraz joined the Rolex family in 2022 and has previously been seen wearing the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with an 18K yellow gold case and a turquoise-blue and black dial. That watch costs around $43,000. He has also worn the Rolex Day-Date, the Rolex Yacht-Master RLX Titanium, and the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Platinum Ice Blue Arabic Dial.

The Cosmograph watch costs upwards of $85,000, while the Day-Date watch with a green dial retails for around $50,400. Meanwhile, the Yatch-Master sported by Alcaraz also has a base price of $16,050.

Currently recovering from a wrist injury that has kept him on the sidelines for more than three months, Alcaraz is closing in on his return to tennis. The 23-year-old will miss the start of the North American swing but is reportedly eyeing the Cincinnati Open for his return to the ATP Tour.

Alcaraz will also have his sights set on a successful title defense at the US Open, where he defeated Jannik Sinner in the final in four sets last year.

With Sinner and Alexander Zverev winning the Wimbledon and French Open titles, Alcaraz will be keen to make his mark at Flushing Meadows and end the year on a high. The US Open main draw is set to begin on August 30.
