Auburn men’s tennis doubles court of Billy and Freddy Blaydes was named to the ITA Doubles All-American honors on Tuesday, May 26.
The brothers are the first doubles court to earn the All-American honors for the Tigers since 2022, when Tad Maclean and Finn Murgett took home the honors. They finished their season with a 21-14 record with a 9-6 record in the SEC. Eight of those wins were ranked doubles wins, the biggest coming against the No. 2 Mississippi State duo of Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez.
After earning a bid through the ITA South Regional, the two made an NCAA Doubles Championships appearance. They went on to be the sixth Auburn doubles team to finish ranked in the top-10, with a No. 10 ranking in the country in doubles according to the ITA.
Auburn men’s tennis finished the season 17-11 and 6-8 in the SEC. The season concluded in the second round of the NCAA tournament against Baylor.
