The 2026 US Open odds are shifting following the news that Carlos Alcaraz is back and ready to make his first appearance since April following a wrist injury.
Jannik Sinner remains favored in the men’s odds, but the gap has shrunk. Meanwhile, Aryna Sabalenka is pacing National Bank Open winner Iga Swiatek on the women’s side.

US Open men’s singles betting favorites and analysis
Despite withdrawing from the Cincinnati Open, World No. 1 Jannik Sinner remains the favorite to win his second career U.S. Open title.
However, Carlos Alcaraz shot up from 19% to 29% following his social media announcement that he will play in the U.S. Open, his first action since April. Sinner’s cushion shrunk from 11 points to six in an instant.
French Open champion Alexander Zverev and four-time U.S. Open champion Novak Djokovic round out the Top 4.

US Open women’s singles betting favorites and analysis
Iga Swiatek is making a major move at Kalshi after winning the National Bank Open, surging into the second spot on the US Open odds board.
The 2022 US Open champion defeated Elena Rybakina in straight sets in Montreal and enters the final weeks before the tournament as Aryna Sabalenka’s biggest challenger.
Two-time defending champion Sabalenka remains the favorite at Kalshi. Like Sinner, she won both legs of the Sunshine Double and is 39-4 on hard courts over the last year.
Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, and Naomi Osaka round out the Top 5 at Kalshi.
