Billy Harris wins Pro Tennis Challenge at Emkey Tennis Garden

Billy Harris captured the Performance Volvo Pro Tennis Challenge on Tuesday at the Emkey Tennis Garden in Wyomissing.

Harris defeated India’s DK Suresh 6-1, 6-3 in the championship match.

Harris, ranked No. 167 in the ATP rankings, earned his first title at the event after finishing as the 2025 runnerup. He now heads to New York next week for the US Open.

Suresh, who helped lead India to the Round of 16 in Davis Cup for the first time in a decade with three wins over the Netherlands earlier this year, put together an impressive run to reach the final.

The seventh annual event featured professional men’s and women’s players from around the world.

Before the men’s championship match, women’s professional players Lizette Cabrera and Erika Andreeva entertained the crowd with an exhibition singles match.

Cabrera is a top-300 WTA-ranked professional, while Andreeva is the older sister of 2026 French Open Singles Champion Mirra Andreeva and has reached a career-high ranking of No. 67 in the world.

The event raised $6,000 for the Olivet Boys & Girls Club of Reading and Berks County, with CEO Rick Perez, staff and Olivet students on hand to accept the donation.

It was the 7th year of event.
