The week after Wimbledon, or any Grand Slam for that matter, is always a bit crazy, but the 2026 post Wimbledon week has featured five weddings. A few years ago, some tennis fans would have thought Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas could have been among those getting married.
Instead, they are broken up and playing in tournaments this week. Ironically both made the finals of their respective tournaments.
Their careers have paralleled one another since dating on and off over the past few years.

Injuries and struggles have befallen Badosa and Tsitsipas
Once known as âTsitsidosaâ and beloved among fans, Badosa and Tsitsipas endured back injuries that kept them from training. Badosaâs was more severe, but it was a crazy coincidence that Tsitsipas dealt with one also.
Tsitsipas also had a lot of issues with his father who served as his coach for years. He ended that coaching relationship with his dad this summer.
