PORTSMOUTH – The Portsmouth High School boys tennis team opened its season on Wednesday with a 7-2 win over Souhegan on the Clippers’ new courts at the high school.
The Clippers won five of six singles matches, and two of three in doubles for the Division II win.
Jiles Tracz (No. 1, 8-1), Amitay Hay Tene (No. 2, 8-4), Hillel Hay Tene (No. 4, 8-0), Jackson French (No. 5, 8-1) and Matias Navarro-Manchego (No. 6, 8-2) all won their respective singles matches for the Clippers.
In doubles, Charlie Anderson and Navarro-Manchego won 8-3 at No. 2, and Hillel Hay Tene and French won 8-0 at No. 3.

BOW – David Cucco (No. 1, 8-2), Chris Berry (No. 2, 9-8), Greyson Belliveau (No. 4, 8-3), Luke McLaughlin (No. 5, 8-0) and Drew Berry (No. 6, 8-1) all won their singles matches for Winnacunnet in its Division II season opener.
In doubles, Cucco and Chris Berry won 8-2 at No. 1, and Aurelius Curro and Harrison Rayner won 8-3 at No. 3.
Exeter 6

MANCHESTER – Oliver Berardino (No. 1, 8-0), Owen Russell (No. 2, 8-1), Coco Pazourek (No. 3, 8-0) Pavel Pazourek (No. 4, 8-1), Michael Burke (No. 5, 8-3) and Nick Rosa (No. 6, 8-1) won their respective singles matches for Exeter in its Division I season opener.
Oyster River 9

DURHAM – Connor Monnette (No. 1, 8-1), Kaden Paré (No. 2, 8-1), Ethan Boysen (No. 3, 8-1), Aaryan Katikereddy (No. 4, 8-0), Felix Scarlat (No. 5, 8-3) and Will Sowers (No. 6, 8-0) all won in singles as Oyster River opened its Division II season.
In doubles, Monnette and Pare won 8-6 at No. 1, Boysen and Sowers won 8-0 at No. 2, and Scarlat and Ian Johnson won 8-0 at No. 3,
GIRLS TENNIS

AMHERST – Aia Tracz (No. 2, 8-6), Anna Syphers (No. 5, 8-3) and Lindsay Lee (No. 6, 8-4) all won their respective singles matches for Portsmouth in its season-opening Division II loss.
In doubles, Syphers and Lee won 9-8 at No. 3.

HAMPTON – Amelia Dumont (No. 1, 8-5), Camryn Andrews (No. 2, 8-1), Grace Bramhall (No. 3, 8-6), Cam Morrissey (No. 4, 8-1), and Eliza Dwiputra-Sumolang (No. 5, 8-1) all won in singles for Winnacunnet in its Division II season opener.
In doubles, Dumont and Andrews won 8-2 at No. 1, Morrissey and Dwiputra-Sumolang won 8-4 at No. 2, and Bramhall and Joyce Cespedes-Lora won 8-0 at No. 3.

EXETER – Cate Phelps (No. 3, 8-5), Brooke Beaulieu (No. 5, 8-4) and Elsa Bishop (No. 6, 8-0) won their respective singles matches for Exeter in its Division I season-opening match.
In doubles, Lydia Goldrick and Maddie Jasina won 8-6 at No. 1, Phelps and Lauren Leigh won 9-8 at No. 2, and Beaulieu and Bishop won 8-1 at No. 3.
Londonderry 6

LONDONDERRY – Taitley Leslie won 8-3 at No. 3 singles for Spaulding in its Division I season-opening match.
Lucy Gosselin and Ashley Stewart won 8-3 at No. 1 doubles, and Leslie and Sydney Daly won 8-2 at No. 2.

DOVER – Anna Seifert (No. 1, 8-0), Irina Steinberg (No. 2, 8-0), Morgan Hoyt (No. 3, 8-1), Lillian Alonso (No. 4, 8-3), Lexi Smith (No. 5, 8-3) and Annabel Prochilo (No. 6, 8-0) all won in singles for STA in its Divison III season-opening match.
In doubles, Seifert and Steinberg won 8-1 at No. 1, Hoyt and Smith won 8-0 at No. 2, and Prochilo and Anjali Maganti won 8-2 at No. 3.
