The Wildcat and Lady Wildcat tennis teams played their first dual match of the season March 4.
The visiting team, Grace Christian Academy, brought 21 players to the city’s Jackson Square Tennis & Pickleball Facility, located between Tennessee and Broadway Avenues in Oak Ridge. Coaches Joanne and David Bowman shared that 27 Oak Ridge High School student-athletes have been working hard during team practices in February, honing their skills for the upcoming TSSAA District 4 competition this spring.
Both coaches invite Oak Ridgers to be spectators at the home matches and support the ORHS players.
