Novak Djokovic reached a record-tying 14th US Open semi-final and record-extending 53rd last-four match at all grand slam tournaments with a 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 victory over Taylor Fritz.
Djokovic’s victory on Tuesday moved the 24-time major champion into a last-four showdown against Carlos Alcaraz as the Serb seeks to add to the four titles he has already won at Flushing Meadows.
