Novak Djokovic’s wife Jelena Djokovic has witnessed her husband win Wimbledon seven times with hopes of securing an eighth title in 2025. Despite the impressive resume, the tennis star has made it clear that the biggest priority is his family.

Novak’s family life has helped the icon win a record 24 Grand Slam titles. The couple are the proud parents to two kids: son Stefan and a daughter Tara. Jelena is actively involved in the tennis star’s foundation as the co-founder and global CEO.

“Jelena is an open-minded apprentice of life with never-satiating hunger for knowledge who would like to be remembered as a curious soul who loves life and lifelong learning,” the bio reads for Novak’s wife on the Novak Djokovic Foundation website.

“A mother of two with an incredible passion to help, she is someone who lives and breathes Early Childhood Education.”

During an Oct. 2024 interview with Vogue’s Nick Remsen, Novak opened up about life with his wife and kids.

“I primarily spend time with my kids and my wife—my family is everything to me,” Novak remarked. “I try to be involved in the kids’ everyday chores, taking them to school. Every once in a while, we have a family trip where the four of us spend some quality time and really reconnect.”

As for life as a dad, Novak is enjoying the healthy distraction fatherhood provides from tennis.

“The most fun is the fact that they’re still kids—they always want to play, so they’re super-creative,” Novak noted. “And then, of course, they’re also challenging you the entire time, pushing the limit and seeing how far they can go to get what they want. There’s always this interaction happening on a daily basis for the smallest things.

“Tolerance and patience are some of the things I have been really training myself on with my kids—and learning from them, because they’re so present, and they’re so forgiving.”
