Jiri Lehecka continued his impressive Miami Open run with a dominant performance against Arthur Fils in the semi-finals, moving into the first Masters final of his career.
The Czech star dropped just four games against an in-form Fils to reach the first Masters final of his young career.
His path to the final has included wins over Taylor Fritz, Martin Landaluce, Ethan Quinn, and Moise Kouame.
The 24-year-oldâs run at the Miami Open has seen him land an achievement that no player since Novak Djokovic in 2018 has managed to do.
Lehecka hasnât just made it to his first Masters final â heâs done so without dropping a set. His serve has been rock solid, and he hasnât been broken yet.
The last time anyone managed that was back in 2018, when Djokovic did it at the Shanghai Masters. Djokovic even went on to win the final without losing serve, which could be encouraging for Lehecka.
This will be Leheckaâs first ATP final since October 2025 when he lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime at the European Open. He already has two titles to his name: one from the Adelaide International and another from the Brisbane International.
Lehecka vs Sinner: Head-to-head record
Lehecka will try to keep his winning run alive against Jannik Sinner in the Miami Open final, but it wonât be easy.
Sinner has had the upper hand in all three of their ATP Tour meetings, and Lehecka hasnât managed to take a set off him yet.
Those losses came at Indian Wells, the China Open, and Roland Garros. If Lehecka is going to change that trend, heâll need to keep serving at the high level heâs shown so far in Miami.
Sinner is also closing in on another major milestone. If he wins both Miami and Monte Carlo, heâll return to the top of the ATP rankings.
