Carlos Alcaraz’s Girlfriend Rumors Will Not Go Away at Wimbledon originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

With Carlos Alcaraz making another deep Wimbledon run, plenty of fans are speculating about the star’s girlfriend.  Alcaraz’s Instagram page is absent of much more than posts about tennis along with some travel photos mixed in.

With Emma Raducanu appearing at one of Alcaraz’s Wimbledon matches, this sparked even more rumors that the two could be an item. The tennis players have done their best to downplay the rumors, indicating they are simply friends who share a love for the sport.

During a June 2024, interview with The Times’ Matthew Syed, Alcarez declared that he was single but admitted to looking for a romantic relationship.

“No, I am single,” Alcaraz said at the time. “I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time.”

Raducanu also admitted that the two tennis players are merely friends. When asked about the dating rumors by BBC during a June 23, interview, Raducanu had a bit of fun.

“Glad the internet is having fun and we’re providing some entertainment for everyone,” Raducanu reacted, per People.com.

For now, Alcaraz is married to the game of tennis, as the kids say. Raducanu explained that the friendship dates back to their rise in tennis.

“We both started getting to know each other when I had that little run at Wimbledon and he had the five set [match] in the first round (in 2021),” Raducanu explained, per People.com. “Ever since we’ve stayed in touch.”
