Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic headline another blockbuster day at the Australian Open as they each attempt to reach the fourth round.

Sinner, the No.1 seed for the men’s singles, is up second on Rod Laver Arena and faces off against Eliot Spizzirri of the USA while Djokovic, who is aiming towin a 25 Grand Slam title at the age of 38, takes on the Netherlands’ Botic van de Zandschulp.

In the women’s draw, Karolina Pliskova and Madison Keys start proceedings on Rod Laver in what is perhaps the most closely matched of the four centre court contests. Naomi Osaka rounds off proceedings on the main court with a clash against qualifier Maddison Inglis.

Elsewhere, American favourites Jessica Pegula and Ben Shelton are in action as they face Oksana Selekhmeteva and Valentin Vacherot while the women’s No.2 seed Iga Swiatek takes on Anna Kalinskaya.

Also of note is the journey of veteran Stan Wawrinka. The 40-year-old wild card is playing in his final Australian Open and takes to court at the John Cain Arena to face the United States’ Taylor Fritz in a battle of old and young. Who will come out on top?
