Freehold Township-born and Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova has a rematch with World No. 2 Iga Swiatek today (Wednesday, Sept. 3) in the US Open quarterfinals.
Anisimova is still searching for her first grand slam title. At Wimbledon, Świątek scored a dominating 6–0, 6–0 “double bagel” victory over Anisimova in only 57 minutes
But Anisimova is on a strong roll at Flushing Meadow, New York, powering past Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-0, 6-3 in the Round of 16 to make her deepest run yet at the US Open.
