Taylor Fritz Turns Heads With Olivia Jade Giannulli During New York Outing Ahead of US Open

Taylor Fritz is making the most of his downtime before the US Open gets underway, having been spotted spending quality time with influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli, the daughter of actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli. The duo caught attention with their outing in New York ahead of the world No. 10’s campaign at his home Slam.

Fritz and Giannulli were first linked in May after they were seen together in California. The reports emerged weeks after the end of Fritz’s six-year relationship with influencer Morgan Riddle. The pair had been dating since 2020, with Riddle becoming a well-known presence at tournaments.

While Fritz has yet to publicly address their split, Riddle has opened up about why she felt the need to end their relationship, while also revealing that they have remained on “good terms.”

Meanwhile, Fritz and Giannulli appear to have stayed close. They were spotted enjoying each other’s company during an outing in New York ahead of the US Open.

On the tennis front, Fritz was most recently in action at the Cincinnati Open, where Brandon Nakashima claimed a 7-6(9), 4-6, 6-3 victory in their quarterfinal clash. The defeat came after the world No. 10 suffered an opening-round loss at the Canadian Open, with Thiago Agustín Tirante pulling off a major upset.

However, Fritz did find cause to celebrate during the North American hardcourt swing, having clinched the ATP 500 title at the Mubadala DC Open.

Before Fritz kicks off his singles campaign at the US Open, he will team up with Jessica Pegula in the mixed doubles event. Fritz was initially set to revive his doubles partnership with Elena Rybakina, but the Kazakh was forced to withdraw from the contest after injuring her ankle in Cincinnati.

Similarly, Pegula’s planned partnership with Jack Draper fell through after the Brit withdrew from the tournament due to a long-term arm injury.

Entering the star-studded draw as the No. 2 seeds, Fritz and Pegula are set to face Casper Ruud and Diana Shnaider in the first round. If the all-American pair advances to the quarterfinals, they will meet either Andrey Rublev and Mirra Andreeva or defending champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori.

In the singles competition, Taylor Fritz will enter the draw as the No. 9 seed as he looks to capture his maiden Grand Slam title and end the 23-year wait for an American man to win a singles Major. The 28-year-old has previously achieved success at his home Slam, reaching the final in 2024 before falling short against Jannik Sinner.
