Former French tennis star Caroline Garcia and her partner, Borja Duran, have officially welcomed their first child. Garcia shared the joyous news with her followers on Instagram, announcing the birth of their baby boy, Pablo. The heartwarming post featured a bunch of intimate photos, including one of Garcia in a bed, with her newborn son resting peacefully on her chest. Garcia announced the news on Thursday in her Instagram post, expressing gratitude and joy at entering motherhood.
“Pablo 🩵 Our little baby boy is here with us,” she wrote as the caption. “Words can’t express how beautiful it is to become parents. We’re so grateful to God that everything went well and that we’re already back home with our (very) tiny prince 🫶”.
Garcia’s post was met with a series of congratulatory messages from several top players and legends in the comments.
Sloane Stephens echoed the joy, writing, “Congratulations mama ❤️”.
Six-time Grand Slam winner Iga Świątek was quick to send her support, commenting, “Congratulations 🥰”.
Fellow French player Alizé Cornet shared a touching message: “Can’t wait to meet this little dad, and to see you again my girlfriend ❤️”.

Garcia, who retired at the 2025 US Open with 11 WTA singles titles, had announced her pregnancy in March. The former WTA Finals champion and her husband, Spanish entrepreneur Duran, met in 2023 and started dating while launching their podcast “The Tennis Insider Club,” where they have interviewed major tennis stars, including Świątek, Naomi Osaka, Muguruza, Jessica Pegula, Taylor Fritz, Andreeva, and Madison Keys. In 2024, they announced their engagement and tied the knot in July 2025 in Spain.
