Carlos Alcaraz debuts unexpected new hairstyle causing frenzy on social media

Tennis fans miss Carlos Alcaraz. On Wednesday, we were treated to a video of him hitting forehands with that healing wrist. That got fans extremely excited for his expected return to the Cincinnati Open in a couple of weeks.

On Thursday, Alcaraz debuted a new hairstyle. This is a big departure from his previous noteworthy ones including the buzz cut, and the platinum blonde dye job affectionately called “blondecaraz.” It also is a noticeable change from his recent fluffy long-locked look at the FIFA World Cup Final. The long hair was clearly part of a well orchestrated hair plan that now makes perfect sense.

Alcaraz has braids

Fans say that he will be known as much for his haircuts as his tennis.

Some think he now looks like Drake.

Others say he resembles Arthur Fils in his braid era.
