The 2026 US Open Mixed Doubles Championship will have a bigger-than-ever field of stars and an expanded schedule. After winning the Sports Business Journalâs âSports Breakthrough of the Yearâ award for its successful new format introducing this mixed doubles event, the tournament is aiming even higher. This yearâs competition will run from Monday, Aug. 24, to Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
To make the event more accessible, the USTA announced that matches on Monday and Tuesday will feature free-to-attend sessions in the Grandstand and Louis Armstrong Stadium. The championship will also receive massive global broadcast distribution, including primetime placement on ESPN.
The initial entry list is packed with immense talent and star power, organized by their combined singles ranking. Notably, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Coco Gauff are missing from this list. Gauff skipped the event to manage sponsor obligations during that week.

Then, under the new system, on Monday, Aug. 24, two teams will earn a coveted spot in the main draw through a competition that features six direct entries and two wild cards.
