With the support of his loved ones in the stands, Jannik Sinner engaged in a closely contested battle with Alexander Zverev in the 2026 Wimbledon Championships final. As the world No. 1 clinched his fifth Grand Slam title, his girlfriend, Danish model and entrepreneur Laila Hasanovic, responded with a burst of pure joy that has now come to light.

How Laila Hasanovic Celebrated Jannik Sinner’s Wimbledon Victory

The blockbuster final unfolded in thrilling fashion, with both opening sets requiring tiebreaks. While Zverev edged the first set, Sinner hit back in the second to level the scores. The 24-year-old then raised his level to secure two crucial breaks of serve across the third and fourth sets to seal a stellar 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 victory and defend his Wimbledon crown.

Laila Hasanovic couldn’t contain her excitement, cheering passionately from the stands while Sinner celebrated his first Grand Slam title of the season by collapsing to the ground.

Although Hasanovic was back home in Denmark during the Italian’s campaign at the All England Club, she made the trip to London to show her support during the final. Similarly, Sinner’s mother, Siglinde, and father, Hanspeter, finally made an appearance in his player’s box after declining an invitation to the Royal Box earlier in the tournament.

Following the 24-year-old’s victory, Hasanovic was also spotted sharing a warm embrace with his father before hugging Sinner himself when he made his way to his player’s box.

Subsequently, Sinner expressed his gratitude to his loved ones during his victory speech, acknowledging their support. He also poked fun at his mother for leaving the stadium whenever the match became too stressful.

“We prepared in the best possible way, me and my team. So I have to thank, obviously, the the whole team, the whole support I get from the whole box. My mom, I see her. She left the stadium a couple of times and you know, being a player it’s not easy. But in the same time it has been an amazing final once again,” Sinner said.

Jannik Sinner has often spoken about how his mother, Siglinde, gets “very stressed” during his matches and feels compelled to step out during tense moments to calm her nerves. In contrast, the Italian has credited his father, Hanspeter, for being remarkably calm and balancing out his mother’s anxiety.
