Jun. 18—A two-time First-Team All-Area selection, Canivez and doubles partner Sohum Gurrapu asserted themselves across the state. The pair won a Class 2A sectional title in doubles before placing sixth at the 2A state tournament. Canivez went 38-9 on the season, including 24-5 in doubles play.

Fan and his doubles partner, Jameson LaFave, were among the best in the area and finished in the top eight among doubles teams at the Class 1A state tournament. On the season, Fan produced a 25-9 record in doubles play and was also 5-2 in singles play for the Illineks.

A two-time First Team All-Area selection, Gurrapu and doubles partner Daniel Canivez flourished on the court this season. The duo placed sixth at the Class 2A state tournament after winning a sectional title. Gurrapu had a 20-4 doubles record and 9-2 singles record this season.

A two-time First-Team All-Area choice, LaFave and doubles partner Kyle Fan won a Class 1A sectional title before finishing among the top eight doubles teams at the state tournament. LaFave went 35-8 on the season, going 26-6 in doubles play and 10-2 in singles play.

A four-time First-Team All-Area pick and our Player of the Year for this season, Madigan dominated the competition. He won a Class 1A sectional title in singles, placed third in singles at the state tournament and compiled a 44-1 record (27-1 in singles and 17-0 in doubles) during an impressive final season.

Ramanath asserted himself on the early stage right from the beginning of his high school career. He compiled a 28-5 record in singles play and went 10-6 in doubles, advancing to the Class 1A state tournament in singles and placing in the top eight at state.
