One year later, Paula Badosa is still talking about how bad Stefanos Tsitsipas was as a boyfriend

Paula Badosa enjoyed a big win over Coco Gauff at the Berlin Open on Wednesday.

Badosa is a fantastic tennis player when she is healthy. Her biggest issue is a chronic back injury that cost her mental and physical turmoil and extensive absences from the WTA Tour.

She also has another big issue. Badosa cannot stop talking about her ex-boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Badosa needs to stop airing the dirty laundry

They were the darlings of tennis on and off court, and fans were cheering for them to succeed. From the outside, they were globetrotters who enjoyed seeing the world together. However, Badosa paints a different picture.

I am not saying that her points are not valid, and the “Tsitsidosa” relationship wasn’t toxic. That’s her truth, and there is no reason to not believe it.

We just do not need to hear about it. It’s like workplace gossip between two colleagues that we prefer not to know.

To be fair, I don’t think Badosa cares what anyone thinks. She just wants to get the word out. Would she be this open if he was not a well-known tennis player?

Can Badosa win a Grand Slam

Five years ago, before the back injury, many thought Badosa could win a Grand Slam.

When she is playing well, Badosa is hard to beat. She showed that against Gauff.

It is the grind of a two week Grand Slam that can be complicated by weather delays and adverse scheduling that can cause her problems.

Three out of the last five years, Badosa made it to the fourth round at Wimbledon.

A deep Wimbledon run is the best revenge for a bad relationship and breakup. Let’s hope Badosa can make it happen.
