Emma Raducanu looks to win her first title since her 2021 US Open triumph as she takes on Donna Vekić in the final of the 2026 HSBC Championships. The Brit has surpassed all expectations with her run at Queen’s Club, making the final without dropping a set. However, Vekić has also enjoyed a strong week and will have her sights set on winning her fifth title on the WTA Tour.

Raducanu vs Vekić Head-to-Head Record

This will be their first meeting on the WTA Tour. Raducanu goes into the title clash after claiming two impressive wins on Saturday. She defeated Kamilla Rakhimova and Iva Jovic in straight sets, all while dealing with a thigh issue.

Raducanu has showcased incredible resilience this week, looking like a completely different player than the one we saw at the French Open, where she was sent packing in the first round. Her aggressive return game helped her overpower Jovic in the semifinals, and she will hope to use that to her advantage in the final.

Lucky loser Vekić stunned home favorite Katie Boulter 6-1, 6-3 in the semifinals, and has also overcome Karolína Plíšková and Marie Bouzková at Queen’s Club. She has used her experience to her advantage, going from losing in qualifying to a sixth grass-court final.

Raducanu vs Vekić Prediction and Pick

Raducanu has yet to drop a set at Queen’s Club, powering into the final while showing great tenacity and playing on the front foot. She has looked efficient on her serve, avoided errors, and defended well on her return.

This will be Raducanu’s second final of 2026, and she will hope that it goes better than the Transylvania Open, where she was soundly beaten by Sorana Cîrstea.

Vekić has more big-match experience under her belt. She is an Olympic silver medalist and has a decent grass-court record, having been a Wimbledon semifinalist in 2024 and the Nottingham champion in 2017. But it remains to be seen whether the 29-year-old can finally overcome her disappointing record in finals. She has lost her last five title clashes on the WTA Tour and Challenger level.

The key for Vekić will be to try and take advantage of any fatigue or lingering effects Raducanu is facing from her thigh injury. Her powerful groundstrokes allow her to dictate play, and she is very much at home on grass courts.

However, we believe that the momentum is firmly on Raducanu’s side. If she is at 100% fitness, she will fancy her chances of finally ending her five-year title drought.

Pick – Raducanu in three sets.
