Tennis fans thrilled as Serena Williams joins forces with Karolina Muchova for Berlin

Serena Williams is set to continue her remarkable tennis comeback later this month, with the Berlin Open up next on her schedule.

Her return began at Queen’s, where she teamed up with Victoria Mboko in doubles. The pair managed just one match before an injury forced Mboko to withdraw.

They did manage to win their opening match, though, and now Williams will be hoping for a similar start when she joins forces with world number 10 Karolina Muchova.

It’s a pairing that has fans talking on social media, many expressing their excitement about the upcoming WTA link-up.

How Karolina Muchova has performed in doubles so far

Serena Williams is best known for her dominance in singles, but she’s had a remarkable doubles career as well.

Her achievements include 23 titles and a rise to world number one, along with 14 Grand Slams alongside her sister Venus Williams.

Muchova has also made her mark in singles, winning two titles and reaching as high as eighth in the rankings.

However, she’s still chasing her first doubles title. Right now, she sits just three spots below her career-best ranking of 156.

Despite that, she holds a 44-35 record and reached the semifinals at the 2024 Olympics alongside Linda Noskova.
