Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have claimed every major title up for grabs so far in 2026.
Alcaraz captured the Australian Open earlier this year to complete his Career Grand Slam, while Sinner has strung together three straight ATP Masters 1000 titles.
The ânew twoâ are a cut above the rest of the ATP Tour right now, and it doesnât look like thatâs going to change anytime soon.
Sinner and Alcaraz, with four and seven Grand Slams each, have already moved past several legends on the all-time list.
They both appear to be tracking toward the grand totals of Roger Federer (20), Rafael Nadal (22), and Novak Djokovic (24) â something Juan Martin Del Potro recently said is within reach.
Del Potro shares thoughts on Alcaraz and Sinner
Speaking to Tennis 365, Del Potro said: âOf course, Carlitos and Jannik are playing magnificent tennis. They are so good, they are playing well on all surfaces, which is very important.
âBut I canât compare them with the Big Three. The other guys, for me, are very special.
âI played my whole career with them. I know how good they are, how difficult it was to achieve everything that they have done for tennis.
âI also know that Carlitos and Jannik have a big opportunity to get closer to them, because tennis now is open, and they are playing much better than the rest.
âSo in my point of view, they have big chances to keep winning the big tournaments.â
Carlos Alcaraz is best placed to break Novak Djokovicâs record Grand Slam tally
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have claimed every major trophy available so far in 2026. Alcaraz won the Australian Open earlier this year to complete the Career Grand Slam, while Sinner has captured three straight ATP Masters 1000 titles.
The pair have separated themselves from the rest of the ATP Tour, and look set to dominate majors for years to come. With four and seven majors each, Sinner and Alcaraz have already surpassed several legends of the game.
Both players are on pace to challenge Roger Federer (20), Rafael Nadal (22) and Novak Djokovic (24), a possibility that Juan Martin Del Potro discussed recently.
Sinner could easily end up overtaking him by the end of their careers, but as things stand right now, itâs hard not to pick Alcaraz as the favourite.
The Spaniard is only 22 years old at this point, but already has seven Grand Slams under his belt â tied with John McEnroe on that front.
