Arizona State softball returns home to face UTEP, UCF

Arizona State softball will return to Tempe after spending the last two weekends on the road.

The Sun Devils fared well in nonconference play, but have hit some tough stretches in Big 12 play, including a sweep from Utah in the conference opener.

However, ASU went 3-3 against ranked opponents, Oklahoma State and Arizona, getting the season back on track.

The Sun Devils will start their home slate with a midweek game against UTEP on Tuesday, April 7, at 1 p.m. MST. ASU had beaten UTEP, 10-1, in the previous meeting on March 10.

ASU will then face a tough series against UCF from April 10-12. The Knights have had a good season and are close to being one of the top-25 teams in the country.
