Coco Gauff is 22 years old and has already won two Grand Slam titles.

The American’s best days might still be ahead of her, but that hasn’t stopped her from thinking about what happens when tennis is over.

Following her recent victory at the Miami Open, Gauff spoke about what might come next.

Speaking after her fourth-round match, Gauff opened up a bit about what she might want to do once her playing days are behind her.

“I don’t really visualise life after tennis right now, but I definitely wouldn’t want to have kids while playing,” she said.

“I am pretty certain on that.”

Gauff added: “But you never know, Serena [Williams] and Venus [Williams] and a bunch of people all said similar things, but I don’t see it for myself.”

“I have not really thought about life after tennis. I definitely don’t want to coach or anything, so you probably won’t see me out there.

“At first I said no commentating, but then it looks kind of fun, so maybe I would consider doing something like that. But I have not thought that far ahead.”

Coco Gauff has made 25 double faults in Miami

Gauff has come through three tough matches at the Miami Open, each going the distance.

Despite her wins, she’s hit at least six double faults in each match.

That trend should give her some confidence heading into her next match against Belinda Bencic of Switzerland.

The American holds a 4-2 lead in their head-to-head meetings on the WTA Tour.

If Gauff can improve that record to 5-2, she’ll move on to face either Victoria Mboko or Karolina Muchova in the semifinals.

The Miami Open quarterfinal between Coco Gauff and Belinda Bencic is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th.
