Tennis players have jumped onto the YouTube sphere in the past few months, with several high-profile players making videos on the platform.

While some stars, such as Madison Keys and Jessica Pegula, have made a podcast to provide some insights for fans, others have taken the behind-the-scenes route.

The likes of Casper Ruud and Ben Shelton have introduced VLOGS, which show them outside of tennis, as well as on the practice courts.

Taylor Fritz, however, has now explained why he doesn’t think he will ever follow the newest trend in tennis.

Taylor Fritz says his YouTube videos would be boring

Fritz is currently performing at the Delray Open and he was asked if he would ever make the plunge into video content.

Speaking at the American tournament, he said: “I think you need to be someone who’s very active like, doing a lot of stuff to actually make the content good.”

Fritz believes his lifestyle away from the court would not be exciting for fans to watch. “All a lot of us do is just play tennis and then, like, relax,” he said.

The American does, however, often play video games on Twitch live streams, where he often fields fans’ questions.

Fritz also gets an up-close-and-personal look at the life of a YouTuber, as he is currently dating American internet personality, Morgan Riddle.

Who will Taylor Fritz play next?

Fritz has been dealing with a myriad of injury issues in 2026, but he’s still been ever-present on the ATP Tour.

The star is set for his first match at the Delray Open, which will be against Rafael Nadal academy graduate Rafael Jodar.

Fritz is the number one seed at the tournament and will be one of the favourites to lift the ATP 250 tournament title.

The American has previous at the Delray Open, having won in two out of the last three years in 2023 and 2024.

He was beaten by Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the quarter-finals last year and the tournament was won by Miomir Kecmanović.
